Global Appreciation and Skills Training Network (GASTRAN) is a non-governmental, non-denominational, non-tribal, and non-political organization based in the capital city of Ghana, Accra. GASTRAN was set up by like-minded individuals who believe in charity work to liaise with other global charitable institutions to identify, appreciate and recognize the daily sacrifices some individuals make to raise the standard of living of people and communities through the provision of skilled development and training, decent livelihood and social amenities. Thus, the organization aims at putting smiles on the faces of the ordinary people who are deprived and marginalized in the society. Global Appreciation and Skill Training Network (GASTRAN) is registered under the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) with Reg. No. DSW/6828 and also accredited member of Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) – United Nations.

Christian and Non-Christians are eligible to be members without discrimination, believing that all men are created equal. Membership shall take effect after your registration has been approved. Aims / Objectives

To alleviate the burden of the single parents, widows, orphans, and the street children who are suffering and give them the hope in life. This will also reduce marginalization and crime in society.

To enhance the employable skills of the unemployed and the employed but low-income earner to make them self-sufficient and self-reliant. This will go a long way to reducing poverty in the developing countries.

To strengthen the organization’s ‘sponsor a child’ programme in order to send street children and drop-outs back to school. This programme is aimed at reducing street children of school going age and school drop-out rate in developing countries

To identify, appreciate and reward people who have helped build their societies in one way or the other and yet being forgotten and faced with difficulties in life, thereby putting smiles on their faces for their contribution to the society.

To enhance the livelihood of people who have suffered natural tragedies and have been deprived of basic necessities in life, such as food, water, shelter, and even basic education, etc., in their societies. The aim is to sustain such unfortunate ones till they stand on their feet again.
